Solo Piano

I'm sometimes asked to play solo piano at weddings, in restaurants or at a variety of other functions.

Obviously if there is a lovely grand piano already in the venue, I'll be happy to play it, but I generally prefer to bring my own digital piano. I'm used to it, it sounds pretty good, it can be placed anywhere and even moved easily from one room to another - which can be useful at weddings. Most importantly though, it has a volume control so that I can constantly adjust how loudly I am playing. A grand piano can be surprisingly loud in a room with not many people in, with not a lot the player can do about it.

I play a mixture of popular, jazz and classical music - nothing too heavy though! As I play both from music and improvise, I'm always happy to play requests.

Here are some examples of my playing - I hope you like them
